My plan is to purchase a 1 or 2 year old S-Line Q7 but I need to be able to lock the vehicle with the engine and AC running. I always have my dog with me and it gets HOT in GA. I hate to waste a sales person's time by going to the dealer when I know I'm not buying from them. - Thanks

 

In can be locked by someone on the inside while the engine is running. Not sure if you can lock it from the outside.

 

tried this with the secondary key fob, when i had my dog in the car and wanted the AC on. it wouldnt let me, but im sure its an option in the ecu you can change with an appropriate interface/software.
