Default Esp fault

Just got my ignition coils replaced yesterday by Audi and was all covered under warranty because of a recall. My car has 65,000 miles and out of warranty. My 2007 Audi Q7 3.6 is now running good.....BUT yesterday when I was driving about 75 mph on the highway and when it started raining my ESP Fault light came up. It says something like "ESP Fault See Owner's manual." I was wondering if low brake pads can cause this issue because I know my 2 fronts are pretty low. I been told by AUdi I should get them changed soon but been holding it off. Just wondering if any here notice their ESP light coming on from low brake pads. Also my brake light works, checked them out last night so it can't be that. Thanks

I cleaned the MAF Sensor with a can of MAF Sensor cleaner I bought from Autozone to fix the problem. After about 5 to 8 start the ESP light went out. After 10 to 15 start the CEL went out. My Q7 is back to normal again.
