I just got an Audi Q7 2007, and I have no idea how to turn off the air. There is not off button and the fan blower doesn't go to zero, just 1-12. How do I turn this thing off?! or does it not turn off

 

It is pretty odd that there is no off button. You have to make sure that the Econ button is lit, with Econ on AC is off. 1 is the lowest setting that it will go on so you will have to turn it down to 1 and then manually close the vents.

 

Press and hold the Econ on/off button to switch off the system

 

Actually, if you manually turn the fan speed up (to get it to manual mode), then press the fan speed "down" button repeatedly you can shut the entire system off. I mean, when there's only one segment lit for fan speed, press the button one more time and it should go all the way off.

 

Oops, I'm an idiot.............was thinking of the older systems. Toniz is right. Sorry!

 

It works lol had the car for almost 3 months now and just found out how to turn it completely off. Thanks I probably would have went a few yrs with the close of the vent technique.
