I am very interested in purchasing the 2011 Q7 3.0 TDI. I like the idea of the zero emissions and awesome efficiency. I test drove one just the other day and loved a lot about it. One thing that did disappoint me was the lag in the acceleration. I stepped on the gas and it seems it takes about a second and a half for it to take off.
What's out there for aftermarket parts to give this diesel more jump off the line?

 

No need for aftermarkets, all you have to do it's **** it down to "S", which is the Sports Mode.........AMAZING......night and day to regular "Drive" mode.

 

I am used to driving my escalade, which has lots of power. So i guess I am trying to get close to that kind of performance off the line.
