Q7 EPC problem?
I own an Audi Q7 2007 model with ~45000 miles on it and used it for a vacation trip recently.
On February the 12th 2011 while traveling in Southern California on an Interstate highway at ~65 mph I had a complete loss of power and the rpm indicator went to 0. The EPC light came on and stayed on while I pulled the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. After turning the ignition switch to the off position then back to on the motor restarted and operation resumed to normal with the EPC lamp off. The weather on this day was dry and in the 70* F range. I then drove approximately 300 more miles that day without incident.
The next day when driving down a hill the same problem occurred as before except that this time I was traveling at less then 40 mph. As before I let the vehicle coast to a stop then cycled the ignition switch off then back on and the motor restarted as before with the EPC lamp going out again. The vehicle operated normal for the rest of that day while traveling another 300 miles.
Other members have offered that this could be a massive brain fart. But two brain farts in two days?
It's now been two weeks and the Q7 has not had a re-occurrence but I only dive <20 mile a day normally.
Anyone have experiencing with intermittent EPC problems?

am a mechanic and i have problem with epc light on it makes the ignition light coms on wen dere is no key
