Q7 reverse parking sensor
I have installed a reverse parking kit to my 2007 audi q7. Only problem is there are so many wires in the rear right of the vehicle, how do I find the power source which controls the reverse parking light? the system is meant to come on when the vehicle is put in reverse. I can't see to id the J773 control module as per the audi self study module? any ideas where I can tap into the reverse parking light?
Hey Eich, thanks for the reply. how did you remove the lens? Do you have to remove the entire bumper or is there an easier way?
if anyone is interested check out

No need to remove the bumper. Removing the reverse light lens is very easy but not the least bit intuitive.
Trying to recall from memory... There is a square plastic plug on each side of the bumper that you can remove. Once removed, look up inside at a steep angle and you'll see a screw - I believe it's a phillips head. Loosen the screw and the whole lens assembly will slide out from the bumper.
Once I tapped into the reverse light wire, I had to drill a small hole to the interior of the car to route the wire. I couldn't find any existing entry point. I put a small rubber grommet in the hole before inserting the wire. It was a bit of a challenge to fish the wire into the interior of the car but I managed.

thanks for the helpful advice. I will try it your way.
by the way I didn't have to drill anything as all the power supply to tail lights come neatly from one place when the bumper is removed. all i did was remove the grommet and then gain access into the vehicle along with all the wires
is there a good reverse camera system you would recommend?
I just got rid of the pesky Continental tires and replaced them with Bridgestone Duelers-they don't look as nice on the vehicle but much better ride quality
