This feature allows you to set the opening height of the rear hatch to any height you want. Came in real handy for me because the concrete ceiling in my garage is very low! Great, easy to use feature which Audi included with the Q7.

 

Thank you so much for solving this. I assure you that you can push up the rear door without damaging anything, even though you might feel the rear door giving you a bit of resistance.
