Hi. Yesterday the front passenger door would not close properly. I eventually got the door to close and set off but after a mile the door came open and the door open warning message was displayed. Fortunately, mypassenger caught the door before it swung open into traffic. Has anybody else experienced this?

Thanks. Thought it would be bad news.. The Ejector button might be a good upgrade for the next time wifey gets in the car. [8D]

 

Took the car to a dealer. A previous owner had workedon the door and not routed the cable correctly. Over time, the cable had come loose and a clip was broken. The result was that the door would open when the car went over a bump. $300 labo(u)r and $5 for the clip. No dead passengers.
