Hi. My wife and I just bought our first Audi Q7 2014 TDI. So far we love it. I will be purchasing winter tires and wheels soon and would like some input about which tire is the best and what size. I was thinking of using a 19” wheel as my Audi came with 20” rims and new Pirelli’s for summer. I heard that the 19” wheel rides better. Personally I like Michelin but I am open.

I am using Hakapalitta on my 2015 TDI in the 18" width. This is down from my 20" summer but the width is less and the sidewall is taller. Just have your dealer size it properly to get as close to the same rotation as normal so you speed will not be off too much. These tires are admittedly more expensive but for winter driving in Vermont with a Q7, they are GREAT.
