Default "new" tt and a few problems, gauge cluster and emergency flashers..

Picked up my "new" TT today, and it has a couple of minor problems...

1. The gauge cluster above the steering column, where it tells what radio station/cd you are listening too, and the temperature....there are a few pixels missing...the station/cd is the worst and the temperature is just half of the second digit that is missing. Is this the recall that everyone has talked about? Do i need to replace the entire gauge cluster to fix this?

2. The emergency flashers "button" appears to be pushed back into the dash...is this button supposed to be flush like the other accessory buttons? I'm wondering if i just need to pry it out or if i'm going to have to take the dash apart.

Another beef...whats up with no armrest in the console area? and the placement of the cupholders..? i already had my first casualty today....i look back in the backseat and my milkshake was dumped in the bucket seat...must have elbowed it sometime during my 12 hour drive today...

1. Cluster replacement is your only option. Are you covered under a CPO or extended warranty? That should cover it. Otherwise you are looking at about $1K.

2. You access the flasher button by pulling out the headunit. Directions here.

3. or C. since you didn't number it. There are aftermarket armrests from Stratmosphere.com. But it is a driver's car, your hands should be on the wheel
