Default 0% Drivetrain Loss! UPDATED PICS!

So, I went out with the s2000's yesterday to a dyno day.

The s2000's were all putting down between 219 and 233 (Stock and bolt-ons) and 148 - 153 Tq.

I put down 225 HP and 225 TQ. Running in FWD with the fuse pulled.
I'll post the sheet once I get a chance to scan it.

2003 225Q only mod is a cone filter...

Their cars read close to what they should be putting down stock.
A brand new 350Z with exhaust/intake put down 304, so the #'s seem fairly accurate...
Why are mine so high?

How does that seem accurate? 06+ g35/350z's have 298 bhp, no? That must be some intake and exhaust. IMO, ALL of those numbers seem high.

Brand new 350Z's have 306 with the VQ35HR So that plus I/H/E seems only a little off.

s2k's have 240 crank, so even with that they are showing about 10% drivetrain loss.

In contrast I have 0% drivetrain loss showing.

Oh, and I didn't get the UNI yet... The cat charged me too much to do my clutch, so i'm still trying to build my chip fund back up.
Ray was super cool about it and understood the situation. Definitely a good guy to do business with.

Man, that sucks. In that case, i wouldnt find those dynos to acurate. There could be something wrong with the rpm pickup and it could cause inflated numbers

Dynos in general shouldn't really be used as a measure of absolute power IMO. They should be used to gauge changes in power...since all the different brands and such tend to read differently (Mustang, Dynojet etc).

Also..are you in Florida by any chance? [8D]

HAHA!!!

His first dyno was pretty on par to where he should be. This one is more than off. But yeah, you need to use the same dyno to compare gains, or in Chris's case, stock vs stock
