Default 120k miles

well i bought my car with 115k miles on it... had timing belt done at near 90k miles so that dont seem to be an issue... i have the maintainence records but the guy he bought it from said he did a lot of the regular maintainence himself and im just wondering what yall think i should do to keep it going for a good 150k more miles... ive been told even when track driven our TT's can last around 300k miles if kept up on all maintainence... this is my first turbo car and so any and everything that yall think needs to be done is appreciated...

and one more question... i heard you can use the oil filter for a a4 or something as a bigger oil filter for an extra quart or so... anyone know?

I used the filter from a passat turbo, 2002.

This is my service list, happening soon:

$?? fuel filter
$12 spark plugs
$0 maf cleaning
$50 oil change
$50 turbo lines
$?? valve cover gasket

I'm doin it all at once, that's my favorite

I also use a a4/passat big filter. Takes almose 6qrts to fill it up.

cincy, what specific filter did you use? a4/passat -- what year/size? I felt like mine could have been bigger, no way it held another quart on top of the stock filter in mine.

You get one for a 01+ a4/passat and it is a little longer and way fatter than the stock one. It really will hold almost 6qrts
