where can i get the radio code before I reset the computer

check through the documentation that came with your car, the manual, the sound system instructions, service book, etc. if you can't find it, you may need to go to audi, have your head unit pulled and have them look up the number.

I have not looked at whether our systems need a special tool to remove the head unit (i have the upgraded system), but if you can pull it out, you may be able to read the serial number to an audi dealership over the phone and get the code for free.

Not sure, but I haven't heard too many people use the words "audi dealership" and "free" in the same sentence.......

normally I wouldn't, but Suncoast Audi gave me my code in 1 minute, and pulled the head for me, as well ( I had the wrong code in my book).

Hey shkenned, is that Milltek a true dual exhaust? Did you cut through the tire well?

Had to go to the stealership for mine, but they gave it to me for free. That was after a "tune up" lol...

so uhhh, i just swapped out my old battery for a new one because it was dying. to my surprise, i didnt get that SAFE/SAFETY bullsh!t. it started back up and worked fine. i dont get it, but hooray bc i dont have my radio code

p.s. - the battery was kind of a bitch to take out [:@]
