as i said in my first post i bought my 2003 tt quattro and know very little about them, can you guys tell me what I need to look at to figure out wether mu car is a 180 hp or the 225. again thanks for your help with this......Dmitry

 

engine code "euro are APM/BAM" for the 225hp

AJQ/APP/ARY/AUQ for the 180hp

a real quick way is to the options, if its is a 6 speed manual it is a 225, 5 speed is a 180. Also dual exhaust is a 225, single 180

 

If theres a big aluminum L shaped pipe under the hood, with a sticker that warns you not to touch it because its hot, its a 225.
