Default 180 to duel-exhaust

Hey with my recently purchased TT I am in the midst of fully upgrading it. I will eventually get my car tuned and chipped and a down-pipe but first I want to get a duel exhaust. Just to check, all I need to convert are these two items right?

The actual Borla exhaust cat-back

The Duel Rear Exhaust Valance

Thanks for the help!

welcome to the tt world...

you need a new rear valence to go dual..

HOWEVER, if you have a FWD tt the only option you have im pretty sure is milltek. but if you have quattro dual isnt an issue and can basically go with any company, just adds a couple pounds but i think the twin tips look better.

good luck!

Oh sorry, for future reference I have a 180t, Silver Coupe Quattro. Nice to meet you. Also, I know with golfs DV's aren't a huge deal, but will I absolutely need a new DV when I get my car tuned for a 180 quattro?

^ continuing on what he said, the 225q and 180q use the same catback design. WHat you use on one can be used on the other with a minor bit of modding. If you have FWD, just stick with the single tip.

not until it fails. That could be a day after or even a year plus after getting chipped. Most just do it at the same time since an aftermarket one is more reliable

and like i said, if you have a front wheel drive then you should stay single tip but if you have quattro no problem with dual
