Brought my 05 TT in today. For a few days the airbag light in my dash stays on. I was told the side air bag will have to be replaced for $660. When I complained about price he said they will goodwill warranty the part-customer will pay just the labor, $315 plus tax when I return and have to leave the car for the day....

Next problem which has been going on for awhile happens after I use the turn signals. After taking the turn there is clicking as if the signal light is still on. It eventually stops clicking. On invoice it's written that "misc check and replace flasher switch". After I leave and it's supposedly fixed, guess what? It's still clicking !!!!

Im subscribing to this because I too have the airbag issue.

 

I own a 2004 A6 with 56,000 miles on it. Recently, my airbag light came on and then a non-stop clicking sound came on. I assume the two are connected. What kind of cost am I looking at to have it repaired?

 

My 2002 TTQ has the same intermittent clicking noise with the turn signal. I've already replaced the Hazard Relay, but it still clicks once in a while. Nobody can figure out what causes it. Someone on the boards here recommended using compressed air in the turn signal stalk, but I haven't tried it.
