The ccm in your car is under the steering wheel, you have to remove the panel under the wheel and it will be bolted flat in there, check if your Ecu seal is leaking, they usually leak right on top of ccm... I got one in the shop check it and if you need it I'll sell it to you.

are any other lights acting funny? It could also be your ecm located under the kick panel underneath the steering wheel.

im thinking its your electronic control module. . . Just a shot in the dark. But that module controls all the lights in the car. that one is located under the kick panel.

My 2002 Audi A4 started doing the EXACT SAME thing in September/October, 2012. Been using another vehicle since, but going to start looking at the repair soon. Let me know if you find the solution. Thanks.
