Remove the cap and turn the wheel lock to lock 10 times in each direction with the engine running. That will force the pump to move fluid and what I assume to be air bubbles through the system. The bubbles should burp out of the reservoir. Top off the fluid to the full mark on the cap stick. If it's air, that should do it. If not, you may have a bad pump.

Same happened to me a month ago or so, and after some drive it went away. Now is back and I'm wondering why I'm getting air in the lines... Is this normal? The fluid level is ok.

I'm having the same problem, gonna try the solution, hopefully it works. At first I thought it was a CV Joint or an axel.

The most likely spot for air to enter the lines is the one time use clamps and pipng from the reservoir to the ps pump. Pumps generally work better when there is a flooded suction. The ps pumps in our cars are actually slightly higher than the reservoir which is a prime source for air to get pulled in through small leaks. If the problem persists, take a look at all of the one time use clamps from the reservoir all the way to the ps pump and replace them if they are loose. I used some stainless hose clamps on mine. Also, I believe I read somewhere that Audi actually recommends to fill the ps reservoir so the level covers the 'Max' written on the dipstick.

Good Luck
