i still have some issues differentiating bhp vs whp
The chip takes if for 225hp to 260hp or BHP which is brake hp or hp on an engine dyno aka crank hp.

When you dyno your car, the dyno reads whp which takes account for the powertrain, this is why these numbers are lower. A 2wd car will lose 12-15% and an awd car will lose ~20%.

Completely false.

The ko3 is in the ATC 180's and AWD VW's. It is an 11 blade compressor wheel which is rated to 195hp.

The ko3s is is all the late 01+ VW/Audi cars. The only difference is that it uses a more efficient 8 blade design compared to the 11blade which makes it rated 210hp. The dimensions of the wheels are exactly the same.

The ko4-001 is basically the same as a ko3s but has a 1-2mm larger turbine wheel which makes it rated to 215hp.

The ko4-20/22/23 all have larger compressor and turbine wheels than the above. This is why it makes more power and actually hold the power closer to redline.
when you say the k03s is in al the late 01+ audi/vw you mean all others aside the 225 TT?

My dyno runs yielded about what cincy said running off the n75 except my wtq was higher...closer to 290wtq and 200whp...with the n75 out and a mbc in the tq stayed pretty much the same but gained in the hp...similar mods to the op

Those people are talking about the ko4-001 which is completely different than the ko4-20/22/23 that the 225 runs. W/o giving the last numbers, people get confused.
