I picked up a 2001 convertible and the top seems to open sometimes but it wont close without help. The pump sounds like it has air bubbles in the fluid and I can look down and see one of the lines is leaking a tiny bit.

How do I access the pump and fill the fluid? I can see where the pump is but can't figure out how to get to it. The local Audi dealer says they have no idea and have never had to fix one

 

haha, so much for Audi helping you out. I cant believe they told you they haven't a clue on how to fix it!

I don't know how to fix it either, Im sorry, but I am sure its a pain in the @ss!!!!

My top is also having problems. Dealer says $1700 to fix hydraulic leak.
Any advise would be great.
