My soft top issues all point to a faulty F171 Soft Top Stowed microswitch. It is on the drivers side main bearing of the convertible top. I can see it, but it is buried in the body work and top mechanism.
It appears the only way to get access and replace it is to remove the convertible top assembly.
Has anyone else had this issue or fixed it?

Symptoms: Top will go up and down. When down, light on dash indicates top is not fully down or stowed. Windows go up and down, just not all the way up. Wind deflector will not go up, it thinks the top might be in the way.
