Default 300bhp in a 225 Quattro

Is it possible to make 300hp at the wheels without a Major upgrade such as Stage III turbo? Someone mentioned an ATP eliminator kit is a good start. What do you guys think?

Well the ARP chip tune says 263hp/267lb-ft
So if you added Borla Exhuast which i would guess you could get an extra 10hp out of.
Neuspeed intake which is another 10ish if your luck.
Thats 283hp
If you did a big FMIC and could get your temps down i would bet you could get into the 290HP range.
But i've never seen all this stuff on the dyno before.

Isnt the APR spec 263 to the flywheel? I didn't think that was to the wheels. My shop here told me with the APR tune (which I had done on Tuesday), i'm prolly getting around 190whp.

The ATP eliminator is a big turbo upgrade.

I hope to dyno my car soon, when i get the Forge FMIC and I am thinking of putting DEI's Cry02 system in my car, hopefully that with a few upgrades I hope to hit 300whp. Hopefully... but dyno results from what I have so far are soon to come...

No way are you going to hit 300 whp without a big turbo upgrade. Remember your 225 is flywheel hp not at the wheels. There is about a 20% loss through the AWD system down to the wheels.

So which BT should I go with? There are a couple different ATP eliminator kits. One is rated at 300, the other at 350, and not much of a price difference?

So in theory if you can get to 360 crank hp then you will be at 300whp? 20% loss? That sounds kind of high, is there any place where this can be looked up with dynos and numbers?

There are numerous examples out there, but here is one from ProjectTT at VWVortex.

Cool thanks, what do you think you would need your TT to be at as far as HP numbers to run 12.0 in the 1/4mile?
