from the turbo to the cat is about 4' of piping, from the cat to the tip is about another 5-6' of piping.

I went to a shop a few weeks back cuz I saw a truck advertising their name "Custom Exhaust", so I go there and the guy was afraid to work on the car. I live in Augusta, GA, which is the 2nd biggest city in Ga but its still far from a real city.

did he give a reason why he was scared? Was it to many bends or the type/cost of the car?

Well the piping goes into the middle of the muffler from the middle of the car and comes out on the drivers side and he said that was a wierd setup.

probably more than you would like. Im sure you could fit a small 3" muffler and res in there somewhere.

I might have to find some other shops and see what they say. I want a better sounding exhaust but Ialso want some extra ponies so I can get close to 300 crank HP and really smoke some Zs. I know magnoflow has a 6 inch straight thru muffler, think that would fit easy?

Its hard to tell from the dimensions of the pic, but 6" shouldnt be to hard to fit. Im sure if you work with the shop, they will behappy tomake one for you

Earlier you said the muffler was probaly chambered and bad for turbos so would a straight thru muffler give me any noticable gains?
