Default Ac blows cold then after 5 minutes, ambient.

So a few weeks ago I recharged my A/C. It was great for a few weeks and all of a sudden I turned it on during a hot day and it was immediately warm.
Now when I turn it on it's cold for a few minutes then warm. Never fails.

I've heard two diagnosis's,
Bad compressor
Bad pressure switch

Can anyone shed some light on this?

It could be either one of those things. However, when the system was recharged was it checked for leaks and recharged using the proper gauges? I suspect thet the refrigerant may have leaked out, or the system was over filled and now tripping the high presure switch when the ambient temp gets hot and the refrigerant expands.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were overfilled... It has been over 100 here lately and I did refill the refrigerant since it wasn't cold but more cool. After it starts getting hot is when it freaks out and goes warm. I used the gauge on the refrigerant bottle but i'm sure those things are ****.
