My a/c in my 02 b6 only blows cold out of the far drivers side vent and drivers side upper vent. I say cold but its pretty relative. On Lo it should be near freezing but it barely has a chill to it. What could it be? I assume the system is working and may need a charge but the issue of it only coming from select vents leads me to believe the flow is inhibited somewhere along the line. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. VAGCOM doesn't show any codes at all. Econ light goes off and on normally as well.

Bump. I'm experiencing the exact same issue on my '03 3.0. Get it figured out yet?

 

I can see that you said VAG does not show any codes, but if the econ light comes on and off and you get air from selected vents, I suggest you do an auto scan. if it draws a blank, go to controller 08 auto HVAC and check fault codes, if this still draw blanks, then do basic settings: on 000 go up to 1 that is 001 and read/test, if it shows any values,exit all the way and then you should be ok but if it says error then you have a lemon.
