Default Aftermarket Radio Install Questions for '05 Coupe

Hi all. Yes, newbie and all that. I have an '05 Coupe with Bose and, from what I've read, apparently the can-bus system. I've searched and researched installations for hours and need some clarification on the installation of an after-market Pioneer radio that has it's own amplification. I think part of the confusion is related to the write-ups not indicating the years of the cars. I'm looking at using the Metra 70-1787 harness.

1. According to comments on the Crutchfield site one TT owner said they had to switch the placement of the pins in the harness and then they were able to get it to work.

But this site ( http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publi...ter_1972.shtml ) says you have to run a separate wire for "a switched power line to the fuse block and wire tapped the illumination line to the light dimmer switch" because the can-bus system won't power the radio. Not something I want to do if I don't have to.

So which of these is correct? If it's just a matter of repositioning pins, what do I need to move where?

2. For the RCA plugs some people seem to say you only run the front speakers and one ground loop isolator and somebody else said they plugged in front and rear with two isolators. Which works for '05?

Thanks for your help.
