Is there a way to make my AC colder by adding freon or something? I swear it used to be a lot more colder. Also my car shakes pretty bad when I turn it on, could it be loose somewhere?

 

Anyone? Its freakin hot here!

 

if your a/c is not cold you either have/are:

low on freon
a/c compressor going bad
hole/leak in the a/c lines/condensor.

You probably should get it tested, should cost to much if anything.

its not recommended because you cant remove the air from the system with the diy kits. so it wont be nearly as cold. Just get a recharge the correct way and if there is something else wrong, the a/c people will know and find it.

 

I thought mine was on the fritz, then i realized i had at some point hit the "Econ" button......yea, i felt stupid....

 

Mine is exactly the same, tried the recharge still same, put the ac on with the fan going full & the engine revs up & down, weird

 

go to a shop, dont try to charge yourself with those part store kits they contain dye's and leak fillers. also you dont use freon, its r134a.
