Default Alarm Sensitivity Adjustment?

Hi Folks, new to the forum. I've had my 2001 TT Roadster, 225 HP, for 3+ yrs now but recently the alarm goes off with the slightest of noises, thunder (ok not so slight ), even sometimes when my dog barks. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity?

Many Thanks,

-Luigi

Yeah, the dealer can adjust it, or you can, with a vag-com cable. I don't remember the procedure, and can't seem to find it right now though, but the dealer should def. be able to do that for you.
