Default Allen wrench in rear tire

Almost had a blowout this afternoon with my rear tire. Any suggestions for new tires on my 05 TT, I'd appreciate any ideas. These are the original tires. They are Pirelli's all-season and live on Long Island New York. Should I replace the one tire or all four? I have 33,000 miles. Thanks for your help!!

How much tread left on the other 3? OEM > 30K, I'm guessing not so good. Just pick up a good set of all season tires. Probably aren't going to find much for Z rated, but you should be able to find something with decent dry/wet weather perf.

Go to the reviews and comparator at http://www.tirerack.com

^ +1 for the Proxes. They've got a great tread pattern and perform pretty well in all weather for the way I drive (I don't like to slow down for turns).

heh, i've been driving around with a nail in my driver rear for a month now. Top off with air every few days.

BTW, I'm running Continental ContiExtremeContact tires, they were something like $94 a piece when I bought them. Good performance, reasonable price.
