Altezza Tails on Black TT, pics?

I'm a member on quite a few car forums... my last being an LS1 GTO which was totaled and is likely being replaced by the TT... another being an IS forum for my wife's 250... as well as a Corvette forum for the C5 I had before the GTO. I would have expected the Corvette, GTO, and LS1 forums to be far more rude, juvenile, and mean spirited than here... I guess I expected too much from most of you guys. I expected some ribing but I simply asked for pics, not harassment. I'm not putting on a wing, coffee-can mufflers, LED wiper-fluid nozzles, spinners, stickers, or a curly antenna. I'm not going to try to defend my opinion that these would look good on a black/red/white TT. It is an opinion, not a suggestion, and as such should not require defense. That said, the ridicule that it generated was uncalled for, immature, and not only has it discouraged me from posting here but, to be honest, if these are the type of people that drive them, it's making me wonder about buying the car. I didn't insult anyone elses car... the fact that some of you are such elitists that you think somone who doesn't share your opinions on asthetics owning the same car as you is somehow below you is rediculous. I'm an engineer... I'm not a CPA, but I'm not the pizza boy either. You really shouldn't make assumptions about someone's socioeconomic class based on an asthetic choice. Some of you need to grow up and some of you really need to step down off your high horse.
what got to me was you bringing up how your an engineer not a pizza boy... alright, im 17, starting to work at a pizza shop with some friends... does that make you better than me just because maybe you know some bigger words? no... maybe since your such a genious engineer you couldve searched through the forum with that intelligence of yours and found your answers.. im no einstein but i can even manage to type a couple words in the search area and find what i need... But sorry, i guess you need to be spoon fed.
My 2 cents just letting you know that your profession doesnt make you better than a pizza boy.

oh and go ask your altezza question on the other 2 large audi tt forums (aw or vortex) and I bet the response is worse than you got here...

you already think youre better than everyone.. maybe a benz or a town car is a better fit for you rather than a TT.
