I've searched this topic and found mixed answers. My question is, "Will the diode increase the stock boost without a MBC?" I've heard yes and no. I'm looking or a definitive answer. Most of the information I find is for the 180hp enine. I have the 225. Which diode should I use without a chipped ECU? The 4.3 or 4.7?

A 180 with a 4.3v diode wont increse the boost itself
A 225 with a 4.3v diode wonst stop boosting since the n75 uses voltage to regulate boost and it will never see th correct voltage to regulate boost.

So you need a mbc to up the boost on a 180 and limit the boost on a 225
