What kind of chip are you looking to get? I know you did not ask for my opinion but i reccomend unitronics...you can send your ecu to ray vee dub and he will chip it and send it back..uni seems to be the most upgradeable and gives the most power in my opinion. i know nothing about giac...apr is nice to i guess idk but i researched the heck out of uni and revo

I have the Revo Tune. Not chip to mess with and not detectable by the dealer. Also I have the SPS3 switch where I can fine tune the settings according the gas I use etc.
Very happy with the set up and no problems whatsoever. Runs GREAT!

Unitronics' chip is prolly the most versatile. that and revo's.

as for intake, u can find a bunch of stuff on Greddy/HKS shroom filters. CAI's are pretty much a waste of piping on the 1.8T platform. K&N cones, K&N drop-in, blitz filters + velocity stacks, intakes are abundant. that or you can always get a modshack

exhausts, blue flames are the best bang for buck out there for $650 shipped. 2.75" piping, nice sound. imo, id get a DP before you get a cat-back. I woulda went that route, but 180 TTQ DP's were non-existant back in my day and just now 42DD seems to be the first company to produce them without having to get one custom fab'd. so i got a neuspeed cat-back single outlet, bc im OG like that [&:]

the evolution guys are pretty cool but be prepared to spend some money on labor about 180 an hour, i would go to eurojet for the chip(REVO) and exhaust. i have the v-flow intake, its a really nice part, very happy with it and a easy DIY install. i have eurojets 3in catback and will be going in soon for the REVO upgrade and water/meth.[sm=smiley20.gif]
