would GIAC be good software, or would you say uni and other custom tuning options?

dont do the trials they will make your car slower after the trial is over. also after your not impressed by either apr or revo you will have to go through some **** to have good software installed.
The car isnt actually slower as the rumors claimed.Therewasa huge fight on vortex with a Revo rep and a few members. The problem with the trial is if you get a Revo trial and then go with APR, you have to get the old trial from revo wiped out of your ecu. The people with stock cars and have huge problems getting it chipped are usually the recievers of a car that once had a trial installed.

The Revo trial wasn't even worth it. Not even comparable to the way the car is driving now... too bad its been raining NONSTOP since I got it done though.

Your going to need a chip soldered in. The memory is just to small. You might be able to get one flashed, but still a soldered in chip would be able to give you everything you want/need.

i know for a fact that a certain map that has to do with timing is altered once the trial software is over. and giac is still okay but they are swaying away from custom tunes that are not big turbo. as always i endorse unitronic, Mike wrote a custom map for ryandiehls car with the intention of blowing apr's figures out the water. mission accomplished at 20 psi. i still have not flashed the tt demo car but we will as soon as i get some time. Moving in to a new building and working on existing projects at the same time is killing me.

Revo claims that is not true, but people did test and it seems to be real like you said. I might be able to find the thread on vortex, just depends if it was locked or not. If it was locked, a search wont bring it back.

Ray, you might have seen me post before about swapping to a awp ecu. The main reason for that is to get a 630cc file and a wideband o2. Im pretty sure Mike Z will alter themaps for a 2.0, but you may now more forabout itthan me.
