My baby is in the shop right now because the dealer screwed up (repeatedly) on a simple fix...

I sent it in to get a cracked power steering line repaired, took them about 4 days then they gave it back to me. When I got there, the paint all across the hood, front bumper (including all the grills) and the roof was pitted, the clear coat was peeling off the mirrors and hood, and they dented my front left wheel well.........

I complained and told them I didn't give it to them like that and I sure as hell wasn't going to take it back from them like that so they've had it about a week, they took the panels off, stripped the paint off and repainted all the damaged parts and pulled the dent out of the wheel well.

So everything is okay right? nope, they decided to screw up again...they bent the bar that holds the front fender on and now my front fender doesn't even fit on right, theres a 1/2" gap between the bumper and the headlight and it looks terrible. So they get to order me a new bumper so I don't have a gap in the front of my car.

Pretty much they've had my car for 2 1/2 weeks for a repair that originally took them 2 days...

 

Ironic they break your back bumper...

This guy on Vortex (can't think of his name, don't care to search right now) had the Rieger kit just like yours. I'm talking about the burnt orange car with the black roof...BurnTT. Anyway, he went to trade it for a B7 A4 and the dealer backed it over a concrete parking curb and ripped the underside of his back bumper. Helped him get a better deal on the A4 lol.

I liked the Rover Copper but dont want the black roof. I bet if my car was that color, people would go "nice Z" everywhere i went though.

i wouldnt let them repair the bumper if it has any crack in it. think about it like this. if 2 yrs from now some damage arises in the same are from wear and movement, you will be pissed and they wont fix it then. i would have them buy a new bumper. its lik the custom repain that looks great for a couple of years then imperfections arise. i'm speaking from personal experience since i had some bodywork done through insurance, and now 2 yrs later i am repainting the whole car again, out of my own pocket. 5500 for no reason

 

its 5500 to repaint a TT? just one color?

 

Yeah, ive said that also, they just have a longer noise for the v6.
