I didn't do the audi test drive one, but did the one for the crossfire that put it against the tt, 350z, and boxter. It was fun.

I also did the audi thing with the race car drivers, free beer, german food, and the tdi race cars and r8. It was pretty cool.

Default R8 Pics.....

First off, let me qualify this by saying the the R8 is sexy, and if you can afford one these details don't matter, but can you imagine the maintenance issues/costs to come with that new model design and engine placement.

Haha... that's where mine is hanging right now too.

I was there at 8:00AM the same day as you.

Beat the crap out of those cars and they loved it.

The guys behind us in line had jumped our friends so I put their heated seats on in every car we got into.

I wouldn't mind the lexus with 100 more hp, and RWD.

For an event designed to test performance, I thought it was kinda funny that EVERY car I got into had the AC blasting.

My brother and I were happy to suffer the heat for that extra bit of power.

One run, I had a girl driving the car in front of me, and when I pulled up to the line I told the guy I was gonna catch her. He held me there until she had rounded the third turn instead of letting me go after the car in front finished the first turn like usual.

I caught her anyway. : )

Haha... nice.

I went into the brake box at about 20 mph each time because i had closed too much of the gap and had to slow down because of the person in front.

My buddy floored it out of the brake box through the turn in the a4 with Traction off and whipped the wheel...
Damn thing squealed like a pig rolling down a hill through the whole turn. Instructors didn't appreciate that

I had to drive through Philly rush hour traffic twice today, but it was totally worth it!
My pictures are uploading as I type this.

So... Is anyone else addicted to that smooth sticky pavement now?
There's no way I can wait another year to drive on a track again!

Incase you were wondering where that smoke is coming from; apparently a warehouse behind the track caught on fire.
That didn't stop everyone from spreading rumors that an A4 went off the track though!

All of the color effects were done in-camera; meaning there has not been any post editing.
