Ya I also am using the TurboXS, its so much easier and worth the money, plus it looks alot more attractive under the hood Besides your Aftermarket DV and TurboXS Under your hood will retain more of a stock looking presence. Unless you have overhauled all of your Turbo Hoses then it looks modded but even then it still looks stock.

heres a question i'd like to throw out there.... when having a remap via ARP, Revo etc... i am presuming they alter the timing, fueling as well as up the boost.... does this not confuse the ecu when running a turbo xs as i am presuming it will be upping the boost higher than what the map suggests?....

just something i was thinking about this afternoon... i want to run the turobxs and simply leave the n75 oojit in the loop so as to not confuse things..... anychance of making things unreliable? whats safe boost on a standard engine, intake, dp etc...?

As far as the tune goes, i think its meant to self adjust depending on where you put your boost. Its techicaly the same if you don't have a tune and you change the n75 for the new MBC your cpu adjust, and sometimes it goes into limp mode. easiest way i have had so far, is to just remove the n75.

how difficult is it to remove the n75? i seem to recall people having issues after removing it and being advised to keep it in the loop but have it over ridden by the MBC?...

while im on topic, im buying a boost gauge and would like to know whats the best option considering price, quality and accuracy

I got a stewart warner guage and installed it myself, works fine and matches the interior lighting really nicely.

drsmith, you want to do what i did... you can leave the n75 in no problem with the turboxs, boost gauges is personal preference...

my O.CT program wasnt enough, it only put me to about 15 psi, haha.. lame, so im up to 22.6psi according to my liquidtt handy dandy toy and i have no trouble with the car
