For my 225 I spent $450 on a used 42DD, $650 for my Blueflame (2.75"), which leaves $550 for a tune (1550) while I still have $450 to play with. I would argue you should take that and save patiently for a used Haldex Blue; it makes the car "feel" faster and it definetly improves driveability, so long as you define "driveability" as I do W/m is good but its not just about power...
