Audi TT Transmission Issue?
Hi,
I have an 04 Audi TT 180hp w/ automatic transmission. When I first got it a year ago, the car ran perfectly. Now, 4,000 miles later, the transmission is jerky.
When the car accelerates and shifts it slams forward and back and just isn't smooth. Or the RPMs will rise to redline and the car won't move for a second then it slams forward and back.
Also, when braking as I approach a complete stop my car will slam forward.
The weird thing is this doesn't occur every time I drive. Some drives the car will drive perfectly and I'll forget I have an issue. Others everytime I step on the gas it jerks.
What is causing this? Thanks for any help.
