Default Audi TT Wheel

Hello

I own a TT and have just swoped the wheels for a set of OZ Racing wheel, and I would
like to fit my old TT wheels to the girlfriends A6

I kown that both cars have a different PCD (TT 5 x 100 & A6 5 x112 I think !) and to make them
fit I will need a Wheel adaptor

Has anybody on here done this before ?

And do you know were to buy the adaptor ?

Thanks

Don't do it. I work in the aftermarket automotive industry and have heard several horror stories of the adapters working loose from the hub and the wheel falling off. Aside from that it puts a tremendious amount of stress on the hub-wheel bearing assemblies causing premature replacement and possibly other troubles down the road.

I agree with Frost. One of my friends did do that and about 1500 miles later while he was driving down the road, his whole wheel fell of and destroyed not only his car, but ended up almost killing someone else because he lost control.

WHAT??????

you americans tune your engine with huge turbos, downpipes, exhaust systems you can´t get and aren´t allowed to drive in germany and so on and on..... and you give smug the advice not use adapters for the other wheels? what´s going on? this is ca the same as when you use wheel spacers only with the difference you do not have two times 5x100 (once form spacer to the car and once wher you screw the rim to the spacer).... in germany about 2 from 3 tuned cars has wheel spacers that they look bigger. and even premium wheel companys sell wheels with one pcd and you can get the rims with the suitable adapters for your car.
i have wheel spacers on my tt since i have the rims, one of my best friends has porsche turbo wheels on his golf and porsche has also another pcd so he has adapters, another firend drives wheels from rh and has adapters, anoter friend drives a8 wheels on his a3 and has adapters.....

my advice: buy quality and there is defenitely NO PROBLEM about this!

if you can´t get somewhere high quality mal me i can organice you some from the best manufactor in germany (--> SSC)
