I just got my 00 1.8 TT a few weeks ago and was wondering what you guys see for milage on a full tank.

I've been getting around 300-320 before the reserve light comes on.

Yes A full tank, I've hit 540 once (damn jeresy), & my normal is about 420-430. On a full tank. I reset everything speed, time, adv mpg & even check the trip-o-meter. Always 93oct.

I drive 70 miles a day, and I normally an fine on a tank a gas a week. - If you keep this car out of the turbo your running a 4 cylinder engine. - Meaning it gets freakishly good gas mileage. - Average on the Highway for me is like 29/30. - Now If I beat on my car... maybe 12 mpg hahaha - But thats during autocross days

holy $hit, 420-430? how many gallons are left when the light comes on? I fill up as soon as the light comes on. The cars new to me so I don't want to chance it. My gauge is funny, full is pegged, but empty is half. Anybody know how to fix this.

That's miles, I really don't speed much in my car. I normally get I could say 400 miles on a full tank. & around 50 I would think when the warning comes on.

Wow in the 400's? I set my trip and I notice I get only about 250miles on a full tank and thats driving conservatively! I have a bad rear o2 that Im replacing this weekend but that only monitors the cat correct? The front one has never been replaced and I'm at 90k miles. Even though a scan reports no fault could replacing this significantly increase my gas mileage? Why else could I get so poor gas mileage? I always put 93 in my baby!

also my center trip computer dosen't work, at least the top part dosen't. with the gas gauge off some, that center infodisplay would be a good backup, but that dosen't work.

any help would be appricated. I don't want to end up on the side of the road with a dry tank.

you cant really compare fwd vs quattro miles/tank, the quattro cars hold more gas.

14.5 vs 16.3 to be exact
