Default Bad Noise up front

Ughh I had to get towed home 60 miles thank god for AAA Plus!

so my problem is I was cruising down the road when i noticed a slight "burbble" comming from the engine bay But only when I was light throttle basically maintaing speed. the noise stopped ifI accelerated or decelerated. After about 3 miles Burbble is now more like a grinding curchunk sound and started to get a slight vibration. So I stopped checked it out didn't see anything obvious from the side of the road. I tried going again but slower and it was Much worse NOW so as I was stopping again only went like 20 yardsI noticed ifI tap the brakes or accelerate is stopped making the Horrid sound. other than that the car ran fine accelerates good holding boost nothing else odd just was getting bad sounding quick

Any Ideas where to start?
and yes my Vag-com came fedx on friday (just gotta figure it out now)

wow no one had any opinions?

I am going to start by checking out the drive lineI guess, as it was only doing it at partial load. Accelerating and decelerating nothing unusual heard?

It could be anything dude...

Personally, sounds like part of your clutch assembly, that's usually what makes for nasty grinding/clunking noises.

Nope no vibration .....no Cel....I was at an autocross event that day and it happened on my way home came on real sudden one min fine then over like 2 miles it was BAD

Ok it sounds like (don't ask howI know this) if you forgot to tighten the lug nuts on a wheel ..... starts out soft then get much louder and has a rotaional noise ... i know hard to describe. but there was no vibration and yes all the wheel studs were on tight.

did you do a wheel bearing test? i doubt its that though. does it sound like something grinding or metal grinding. what about going around turns, any better or worst?
