Badgers? We don't need no stinking badgers!!!

Maybe you guys are too young for that (slightly reworded) quote (and pic).

Anyway, helps to do it on a warm day, let the car sit in the sun a bit to soften up the adhesive. Floss works, as do small plastic puddy knives.

Putting them back on, 3M makes the good stuff.

buy new ones first. Prep them, paint, replace. Pain in the *** to try and restick them to the car. And yes floss. But twist the floss as your using it. Otherwise the floss will shred quickly

Exactly. Use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat up the emblems, then use fishing line or floss to "saw" the badges off. It's extremely easy. You could also just heat them up and use a flat head screw driver if you're careful. Then use goo-gone to remove the junk. Annnd 3M double sided tape to reapply.

why would he buy new ones when their not broken ???

by the way, a new one would have the same adhesive that you could buy over the counter. 2 part epoxy also works great if you scuff the paint under the badges, gives it something to stick too and they wont fall off....ever

Uh yeah, scuffing the paint=super ghetto. And yes, I would buy new ones. That way you dont waste your time trying to restick adhesive to the badges, cutting the adhesive to the exact size. New ones are cheap. you can make them perfect. And flat head screwdrivers don't go anywhere near my paint.
