Becca: Your Boost Gauge
I read in another post that the tubes supplied by Autometer didn't fit the FPR or DV...
I ran into this same problem when I initially purchased my gauge awhile back. I couldn't even find anything at Home Depot to MacGuyver it.
If you've already resolved this problem, how did you do it? If not, can someone please give me some insight. I'd like to fill this darn hole in my vent w/ a gauge finally!
Thanks,
Ron

RE: Becca: Your Boost Gauge
The line goes in the gauge and has a adapter hose to connect it to the T. You then need to splice the dv line or get some vac hose from a part store to go to the fpr or dv (if you dont want to cut the stock line).

RE: Becca: Your Boost Gauge
I did exactly what cincy said. Cut the DV line and put the T in-between the cut.
Took my pair of scissors and made and X in the rubber grommet on the firewall.
Shoved about 2 feet of vac line thru, saw the line while peaking in my vent.
Jerry-rigged a plastic coat hanger, grabbed the vac line.
Assembled gauge in vent, put vent in dash!
