you should def. used that money towards a downpipe or chip/flash for that matter.

 

Save your cash and buy a shroom filter.

 

you should buy a boost gauge instead.

 

k&n is $50... no need for anything more

 

K&N comes pre oiled, I would go shroom to avoid any problems with the MAF sensor.

Huh? If its durty buy a new filter element for 12 bucks, easy install.

 

AEM dry flow. No oil and comes in just about any size. Cost the same as a compareable k&n

I went with the Nuespeed and it does the job. I made my choice after seeing Wak's flow testing (with Vag-com) of some intakes available for the TT and the Pflow performed the best in the group. It also showedthe drop-ins flowed no better than stock.Some don't like K&N filters becuase of the oil.....I have used them for YEARS without issues in all my vehicles that I have owned. Wellexcept for my old mazda B series pick-up from the old days. To each their own. I am pretty sure they could have used a cheaper conical filter (dry or oiled) in place of the Pflow and had similiar results.
