Default best oil for 2014 audi tt

Just got a brand new 2014 audi tt with the s line competition package . Been searching around and can't really find the best oil for it. I've been reading that these 2.oTFSI engines are notorious for burning oil so just getting ready when it comes to that.

Currently has 400 miles clocked in so will check the oil soon.

what does the manual say for weight?

Now google "vw/audi approved oil"

Pick one on the list in the weight you need. (WAG- 5W/40)

Syntec, or Edge... whatever they call their full synthetic now. The full synthetic is the most important part.

Go with something that is Fully Synthetic. It used to be that you couldn't beat the quality of Mobil 1, however tests showed that its simply just not that good anymore. More than likely the use of cheaper materials used to make it. Who knows. But i use Rotella T6 oil, which was proven to be up at the top of the list for fully synthetic oils. I use it in my 2001 GSX R600 bike and the TT and it works like a champ. 5W-40 which is a good all around weight. Either way, just use something that is fully synthetic.

absolutely must be synthetic. The turbo won't tolerate conventional oil
