Default biggger intercooler

So i have the 180hp fwd TT. What modifications would i need to do to fit the 225 intercooler in my car? i know mine only has 1 intercooler, so for two i would think i need to do some modifications. and also im looking at a 225 intake manifold with injectors from an 06 TT. would that fit in the 180hp TT? Any advice would help.
maybe this will help. =]

idk it may be possible? you'd have to get the silicone hoses and the rest of the plumbing. to make it fit.

Let me know if you need the Twin setup from my 225, I just put in a Forge Front mount. with upper boost hoses also.

But knowing how small the 2 intercoolers are I would just put in the FMIC. It will get more airflow directly on it and its bigger than both the intercoolers together.

Would it be worth the hp gain to go through all of this? And i was considering a FMIC, but they can get expensive. =/

Well I found out that if you raise your boost even with the chip you are probably over working the 180 intercooler and loosing hp after awhile and especially in the hot summer. Before I put in a new turbo and FMIC I could really tell the difference in hp between summer and winter. And if you put a bigger turbo in then you will need the bigger FMIC to handle the added boost levels. It really does work good. I drove my car hard for about 20 mins after I installed the APR FMIC and the hose with the hot air coming in was really hot and the hose leading to the intake manifold was actually cool. Probably close to 70 degrees difference or more I would say. And the 180 intercooler is only about as big as a sandwhich (maybe a dad bigger).

Our FMIC kit for the 180 TT includes a 225 TT intake manifold.

If that is a Forge Motorsport FMIC it also costs about $300 more too. Im sure the new intake helps some too but with that do you need bigger injectors and a new fuel rail?
