So I did A little research before I did this, because I didnt wana tear anything up. I decided to go with that high temp engine enamel (the one with the engine on the can that has a bunch of high heat tolerance claims).I started with a light but thorough sanding of the emblem, then did a wipe down with some alcohol.. I must have sprayed at least 20 coats of this gloss black until all of the droplets of paint connected, and gave me a flawless shine. I took it to my buddies boddy shop, and wiped it down one last time to get all the grease and finger prints off of it. And just when I thought it couldnt look any better, he sprayed it with3 coats of clear. Then let it bake under the lights for a half hour. IMO the end result is perfect! I was debating on just painting it flat black, but Im glad I took the time to do it right. Thanks to clipse for the help. And yed, the reflector delete is gonna be next.

...you should have painted the rings yellow lolThanks. I'm gonna try to do the headlights and the back rings at the same time. Since they are getting painted the same color. Then Im having the tails and side signal markers tinted. All blacked out except the windows
It doesn't get any cleaner!

Are you running a 3.2 rear valance? and im gonna run spacers on mine. I left the 15mm in the front (sits perfectly flush with wheel well). but I need some 10mm,12mm, or 15mm for the back, because my 20mm were too big.Originally Posted by 2Screwed
