Default Boost Gauges, Boost Controlers, ETC...

Im just wondering if anyone has a boost controler setup in their TT's because im wondering if its neccesary to even have one.
I have chiped my car and have a borla exhaust along with an aftermarket DV. im just wanting to know if its neccesary to get a boost control and which one to get will be better(electronic or manual???) Also is there any other electronics i should consider?

ps. If you have pics of your gauges and controlers then post up the pics, im trying to get a better idea of where to place them if i get any.

If you're chipped, you definitely want a gauge to see where you're spiking. Boost controller might make for more aggressive boost onset and higher spikes if you want to run more boost.

A boost controller isnt needed, but i wouldnt run w/o it personally. Youll spool faster (ball&spring) and hold boost longer (huge plus for a small turbo) with mbc. Also, you can help reduce huge spikes with changing loads with a mbc also (bleed valve style). So you can run either a ball&spring or bleed valve mbc, or better yet, one with both (turboXS hpbc).

There really isnt a need for a ebc unless you have a much larger turbo and want to control boost by gear/speed.
