Question Boost issue

Ok so my mechanic says the computer was giving an "Overboost" code. My tt boosts to about 20-23 psi which is well within the safe range... so it builds up to the 20 and then shuts off then builds up and shuts off.

any ideas?

Honestly I don't know. I bought it already chipped and all from a dealer who didn't even know it was chipped. My mechanic currently has the car, scratching his head in wonder.

How can i find out? (I'm a noob)

Anyone? How can I determine what setup I have? (Please... before I drive this thing off a cliff out of frustration)(or push it rather)

turn boost down below 20, so it doesn't throw an overboost code?

reflash with something you KNOW?

We can't read 1's and 0's inside your ECU, if someone couldn't tell you who flashed the car when you bought it, theres very little chance anyone else is gonna be able to help you.
