boost valve help

Default boost valve help

hi i have just bought a audi tt 225 coupe i have just put a bailys dumpvalve on it and iam wondering what pressure you can put through a boost valve safely without blowing my engine any ideas thanks!

well i;m not a huge fan of that brand of DVs myself ...need more info...are you stock? boost gauge and/or boost controller? does the DV have different springs inside? if your stock and you bought that DV brand new i would just leave settings the same.

yes stock the dumpvalve just fits on to the intercooler pipe at the front of the engine and the old one was blanked off

You cant increase the psi on the car until you get a chip. If you install the boost controller on the car and try to increase the boost, the car will go into limp mod. Meaning go from stock 14psi down to 5psi until its fixed.
